The 2025 Currier and Ives Collectors Club Convention is here, and it's a blast from the past! 🎉

Theme: Back to the Future
Banquet Theme: Enchantment Under the Sea (1950’s prom style, inspired by the iconic movie!)

Get ready for a weekend of fun, nostalgia, and creativity!

Here's what's in store:

Costume Contest: Dress in your best 1950’s prom attire or anything inspired by Back to the Future.
Tablescape Decorating Contest: Showcase your creativity with themed table settings.
Dessert Baking Contest: Bring your tastiest treats to impress!

King and Queen rooms available at a fantastic rate of $154 per night.

It is important that you identify yourself as part of the Currier & Ives Dinnerware Club. You will need to provide the hotel with the guest name(s), requested room type such as king or double queen, check- in and check-out dates and a credit or debit card to guarantee the room. Individual reservations must be received by 6/6/2025 or you will have to pay the peak time room rate.

Our Activities Directors are planning exciting games and other activities to keep the fun rolling all weekend! Hosted by the Board of Directors, we welcome your ideas, donations, and offers to help.

UPDATE: Late March 2025

Seminar: Larry Iddins will be conducting a demonstration seminar this year. We ask that you bring a cup and saucer from any Royal China Pattern. We will have some blue C&I ones available if needed. You will be using this item to create a craft to take home using E6000. You will not be able to drink from it as E600 is not considered “Food Grade”.

Registration/Commemorative Order Procedures:

The registration packets will be mailed out to club members in April. This will include the registration form and the commemorative order form. Registrations are to be completed and mailed to the treasurer, Mark Skrobis. Commemorative order forms are to be mailed to Larry Iddins, Vice President. This is a change from what was in the Feb/Mar newsletter. We will not be doing online registration and orders this year.

Registration Fees: The convention is open only to club members and their paid guests.

ALL 3 DAYS:
Thursday, Friday & Saturday is $170.00 per person. This includes the Meet and Greet with appetizers and beverages, Friday dinner and Saturday lunch.

Friday only (includes dinner) is $100.00 per person.

Saturday only (includes lunch) is $70.00 per person.

Buy, sell, trade tables may be purchased for $10.00 per table.

Special Raffles:

You must be present to win as item(s) won will not be shipped. We will be raffling the first commemorative from the first convention in 1997. It will be a tea bag holder from Bud’s collection. Also, we will have a special piece created and donated by Joel Wilson from China Specialties. Tickets will be available at the convention for $10.00 each or 6 tickets for $50.00. All proceeds will go back to the club.
